The Hussite Church is a freely accessible monument, which is located above the village of Lúčka about 16 km from the town of Rožňava.
The church was built in the second half of the 13th century in the Gemer early Gothic style, it was dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary.
The stone single-nave church with a longitudinal nave and a square presbytery was probably built by Detrich Szár of the Ákoš family (Ákoš – Bebek family).
How to get there:
You can get to the village Lúčka by turning in the village Lipovník, which is located on the 1st class road no. 50 between the cities of Košice and Rožňava.
At the upper end of the village Lúčka there is a concrete sidewalk and stairs that will lead you to the Lúčka cemetery. Behind a small cemetery there is a Hussite church.
