Our largest, unique clints field is located on the Silická plateau in the Slovak Karst, just behind the village of Kečovo, on a limestone slope below the Maliník hill (493 m). It is an example of a long-term human activity – the gradual removal of the original forest cover, which has washed away the soil and created a large karst area. It is the habitat of many protected, rare species of plants and animals, drought-loving and thermophilic communities.

As there is a 5th degree of protection, it is forbidden to move outside the marked hiking trail or educational trail.
